This class is focused on breathing diaphragmatically, and practicing slowing down to sense the breath from the inside out. We start in a chair with a gentle movement and breath exploration, and use a TheraBand to help add to our sensing of the rib cage and diaphragm muscle when breathing. Then we move the standing and use the chair to help embody strength in the core, and flow through Warrior I, Plank Pose, Downward Dog, Standing Hip Lifts & Reaches, and end with Wide-legged Squats. The closing breath practice is Nadi Shodana, alternate nostril breathing.
