This practice focuses on the heart of tension release - going slow, subtle and starting from within. We use gentle breath practice at the beginning to notice our inhale and exhale. We then use somatic movement to release tension; including an added deep exhale. From there we move to standing to release tension from the hip flexor and build our strength an stamina in standing postures like Warrior I and Chair pose. We end on the floor by gently resting and getting comfortably lying down. Props include a chair, strap, and yoga block (or something to stand safely on).
